just after trying to install the available update.
It's not like the thing doesn't work at all, but such an update has its reputation. Last but not least, I pay monthly for the use of the Jeppesen charts on the said navigation system, which was also not freeware. Community files are as default and i use norton antivirus.
And now the question; is there an option to solve that issue?
Thanks in advance for reading this. Days I have searched with no joy. I have the GTNXi software running on a separate monitor, not in the VC. Running MSFS 2020, default C-172 Steam Gauges, stock up to date WT-430 and 530.
My stock KAP140 autopilot is broken. Specifically the display shows the AP engaged, but no ROL, HDG, ALT or other displayed values. If I cycle off the AP, then back on, it briefly flashes ROL and then goes dark again.
If I do not run the GTNXi software, all is well. Please see attached photos.
I have tried changing the Navigation setting from Simulator to 650 to 750 with no changes.
I am using two realsimgear G5s running Air Manager G5 premium panels. I also have a GTN650 and 750. I use the default analogue c172.
For some reason, when I use the TDS the GPS course bar on the HSI flickers back and fourth and doesn't work correctly. Also when I set the 650 as NAV2 and the 750 as NAV1 the CDI selector seems to change both of them from GPS to VLOC?
Also for some reason the TDS affects the altitude bug on the G5.
First of all, I'd like to thank you for this excellent sofware and for the integration of navigraph charts.
I'm writing to you because I'm looking for a solution to interface the software with my cockpit.
I would like to be able to operate the buttons on the GTNxi 750 using the buttons on my cockpit:
Home
direct to
dual rotary knob
volume/squelch knob
In your documentation you give MSFS events (K events)
GPS_PAGE_KNOB_DEC Bottom Right Inner Knob Decrease and
GPS_PAGE_KNOB_INC Increase where:
0 = GTN750Xi Unit 1
16 = GTN750Xi Unit 2
8 = GTN650Xi Unit 1
24 = GTN650Xi Unit 2
I don't understand these lines:
0 = GTN750Xi Unit 1
16 = GTN750Xi Unit 2
8 = GTN650Xi Unit 1
24 = GTN650Xi Unit 2
What do 0, 16, 8 and 24 stand for? How do I use them?
I use spad.next and I know how to modify LVARs. But I don't understand these numbers.
An example would be great
Thank you for your answer.
I am new to the simulator world and am trying to replicate the setup of a plane I
currently rent at a flying club that includes a GTNxi 650. I am using MSFS2020 and
am interested in figuring out the best way to get the GTNxi 650 into my simulation
environment. I am wondering if I purchase the TDS GTNxi Simulator if it will work
in a MSFS2020 plane that does not normally have this piece of equipment. I am also
wondering what most people here do for controlling the touch screen:
ie Do you just use you mouse to interact with it OR do you use RightSimGear hardware
with this?
Yesterday I bought the full TDS GTNXi license (with unlimited Navigraph subscription).
I'd like to know if it's possible to display the Tds GtnXi icon in the upper toolbar of the cockpit interior view? I'd like to display the gtnXi 750 panel on the right-hand side of my screen, as is already the case with PMS GTN 750.
