I'm a TDS GTN 750 Xi user in window mode (I deleted the TDS folder in the Community folder to display the GPS in a separate window, not integrated into the VC cockpit).

After 3 months without running the simulator, I opened the program, and now the GPS panel is black. I tried to install the new version, in case it solves the problem, but I can't.

I have 1.0.3.0 and the available is 1.2.0.1 (I have the trainer updated). I get this message:

GTNXi EXE Flight Simulator

Error Installing:
TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe
SimConnect.dll
TDSGTNServices.dll
TDSGTNXiFlightSimManual.pdf

--> Accept

Then a message appears: Successfully Installed!, but it's not. The version is still the older one.

Can you help me to solve both questions? How to solve the black screen, and how to install the new version?

I updated MSFS2024 to the latest version yesterday, and have made sure that I've upgraded the GPS to the latest version, and now when I start up the sim there is a significant lag between activating any of the functions in the GPS and the action being completed.  Even during the startup sequence when I click the "Continue" button there is at least a two or three second delay between the button being hit and the screen updating.

A note that might help is that when I updated the GPS software I got this warning message.

TDSGTNXIfLIGHTSimEXE.exe
SimConnect.dlll
TDSGTNServices.dll

I clicked OK and then another pop up said that it was successfully installed.

Any suggestions about what I can do to resolve this issue?

I've been using the TDS GTN750XI for nearly 2 years in MSFS 2020 without issue. However, in the last week whenever I load into a TDS GTN750XI compatible plane I just have a black screen. With MSFS 2020 closed I can open the TDS GTNXI Flight Sim app and open the 750 and everything displays as expected. 

I have gone through the usual routine of removing/reinstalling/rebooting etc but all to no avail.

The versions I have installed are:-

TDS GPS Manager:- 1.0.1.3
Aviation Trainer:- 3.8.4.0
GTNXI PC Trainer:- 20.42.2.0
TDS GTNXI:- 1.2.0.0
Gauge:- 1.0.18

It's incredibly frustrating as I'm wanting to upgrade to the Pro version so that I can take advantage of the Navigraph integration but am loathed top do so until I can get it working again with the base version.

Any help gratefully appreciated.

Scratch that, I’ve fixed it. At some point I made a copy of the tdm gauges folder in the community folder. I deleted that copy and it started working.

I run Air Manager on touch screens and have the HPG-145 Helicopter running the dual TDS GTN-750's. While they do work fine in the Virtual Cockpit display on my main monitor, for some reason, when I pop those displays out, the pop outs are black. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ive been using GTM Xi for a long time in all my MSFS2020 planes and helis.  I display the 650/750 on my RealSimGear screens.  Everything works as it should EXCEPT in my latest helis -the Cowansim R66 and R22.
When i load those 2 helis the 650/750 screens go blank instantly.  If i goto the systray it appears the program is still running but i cannot load or select either device ??
the "settings" screen shows and I can adjust settings but I cant get to the screen where i can select to display the screens.
If I go back to the MSFS main menu and select another plane or heli the program again allows me to display the screens as normal.
This is obviously a problem with the Cowansim helis - 
Does anyone else have this problem ???
and / or a fix ???

I am getting the following installation error message for all versions of the GTN Xi.

Hi,

Had a problem with my PC and changed power board to fix it. It's been U/S for about 5 days.

Now when i run MSFS2020 and load up the Cessna 414AW, i can see the GTN750Xi panels as normal but they are completely black.
I have done all TDS updates i can think of but it's still no joy. 
GTN750Xi not starting up when launching MSFS2020 and C414AW.

Previously during starting MSFS2020 i could see a popup for TDS750Xi that disappeared. I think that is the root cause. For some reason TDS750Xi does not start together with MSFS2020.

Incidentally, after been U/S and i got my PC back up running again, i got some new Norton warnings that i have never seen before. Turns out that Norton has updated their software during the 5 days my PC was broken.

I have checked all quarantined files and none of the TDS files are there.
I checked the Norton firewall settings and this is what i see:
GTI                           Allow
GTN Xi Series trainer   Allow
GTNXi Flight Sim EXE  Allow
TDSGPS Manager       Allow

Not sure what to do. Need help!

I am trying to install GTNXi on another computer. This computer previously had a working version of GTNXi, but I had moved it to a different computer which is still working.  I am trying to move GTNXi back to this original computer.

I installed TDS GPS Manager 1.0.1.3, and reinstalled current versions of everything.  When I start TDS GTN650Xi, I get a black screen inside the GTN650Xi screen.  This previously started with a message "Registered to..." and then opened the interface.  TDS GTN650Xi now loads to a blank page, without any "registered to" message, and it just stays as a black screen.

Is there another registration step needed?  I also received a message that I exceeded the maximum number of installs, but then it seemed to install the new version anyway.  Is this possibly a multiple installation issue?

Mentioned before but...  still hoping somewhere down the road (sure MSFS changes are taking resources)

Would love to see   GPS175/GNX375/GNC355 option.      Personally use a plane with GNX375.   Using the 650 now but buttons and features are different.
I asked a while back and you responded that focus was on GTN.  Always appreciate honesty and that fact that you reply.   Let's just say another developer for XP doesn't
even reply.

I remain hopeful there is enough interest to take this part of the Garmin trainers and make it available for those that use it.  Thanks for considering the suggestion.
