Black Screens

Not sure what happened but my Screens are not coming on both 750 / 650 seem to start after update not sure whether the Anti-virus or something I did. I saw a brief message after todays update about it being ok, but the previous update it started.  I did see where you could select the trainer version may have selected the wrong one.  MSFS 20  Verson 1.2.0.0, 3.8.4.?, The trainer version is not working Either. Started around 2 weeks ago after an update. I have since completely removed all files, short cuts and uninstalled of the PC. I tried to reinstall 3 times nothing is working. Done for the evening.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues.

To be able to assist you, you will first need to install the PC Trainer as well as the TDS GTNXi version 1.2.0.0.

Please make sure to download the latest TDS GPS Manager v1.0.1.3 from the sales website.

Once this is done, with MSFS closed, please re-run the TDS GTNXi from the desktop shortcut, then click on the GTN750Xi button. Does the screen light up?

Gauge 1.0.18, TDS 1.2.0.0, Data Base 3.4.0, Aviation Trainer 3.8.4.0 and PC trainer 20.42.2.0

MSFS 2020, Windows 10 updated and Norton AV.

Still no Joy

I Ran the Desk top as Admin and changed the Properties to run as Admin and it worked, However it does not work in sim, I do see it boot up but still black screens. Tried 4 different planes,
the TDS file in in the Community Folder.

With MSFS closed, please start the TDS GTNXi from the desktop shortcut, then click on the GTN750Xi button. Does the screen light up and function well?

Yes the desk top version works if I Run as administrator works fine.

It does not Power Up in MSFS though, Black Screens. Every thing is current.

After a few hours after messing with the GTN, It will only work if I run it as Administrator. The Trainer will have Black screen if I don't. In game works as you ask Start after Starting MSFS BUT only If I start it as Administrator any other way it is Black Screen. Just a note as I downloaded for Reinstall my Windows defender did not like it which in controlled by my Norton Antivirus I had to select RUN ANYWAY, However at least it runs but again only as Administrator. All this started about a week after Thanksgiving after Windows 10 Update and Update of the TDS Manager and upgrading to Pro and MSFS 2024. I'm Still in MSFS 20 and not upgraded to Pro, I have no Clue which one Caused this been running just fine since 2022.

Hello Scot,

Please go here:

C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FlightSimEXE

Then right click on this file and access the Properties:
TDSGTNXiFlightSimEXE.exe

Please navigate to the compatibility tab and make sure that no options are checked.
Are you running MSFS as an administrator?

Nothing Ticked, No on running MSFS as Admin. I do at times Run as Admin on install, But I did not on the last install of this App. But did previously
