White window
#11
Hi,

Same issue here Sad

It was working fine and since last sunday, i have  a white Windows.

My config : 1 1080ti GPU,  with 3 screens attached (1 "normal screen" and 2 touch screens)
The white screen occurs only if the gtn windows is displayed on a touch screen.

I'm still can't install v1.0.0.4 as defender stucks on "TDSGTNServices.dll" despite exclusions.

I will try with a REAL antivirus.

Regards,
Oliver

I've installed Eset, and installation is working fine now.

V1.0.0.4 is ok.

However, GTN windows are still white.

Did you try to delete  C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FlightSimEXE\TDSGTN.ini and then open the app? This allows me to run the GTN (removes white window), then I just have to make sure not to close the app while the GTN is displayed in my touch screen. (Move to a different monitor before you close.)

Ok, so :

The only way to get it working as wanted, is to set the GTN screen as "Principal'

The screen identified as #3 is usually my principal screen --> the GTN is not working anymore

If i set the screen #1 as principal screen (where the GTN will be displayed) --> the GTN is working fine.

I hope you will be able to fix this !

Oliver, did you manage to resolve the antivirus problems?

Yes I did !

I've installed Eset. This way Defender is disabled.

I've made some exclusions, and Eset Firewall is set to "learning".

It seems it gets white when not starting on the main screen. So what I do is open the ini before starting, editing the saved window X coordinates (let's say they are 3500 left border, 4500 right border, to 500 and 1500).save it, start it, Windows comes up on the main screen properly, drag it over.. Done.
Easiest way would be an option do disable saving the window position (but keep the size saved).
