I had a previous post regarding the just flight Arrow where I couldn't get the autopilot to follow the gps.
I have also tried this in the C414 and the same problem. It works with heading mode in the settings, but not with nav mode.
When I select the gps mode in goes into standby mode ( lower box ) in the autopilot and rol mode remains active. When I change to heading mode in the settings, the heading mode goes into the active ( top box ) on the autopilot and the gps remains in the standby, and it will track the gps path .

I downloaded the PMS GTN to try it and it works as normal. e.g. the GPS shows in the active box and it tracks the gps, so it is only an issue with the TDS GTN. I seem to be the only one having this problem.

I have deleted all autopilot settings in the sim, but it makes no difference. ( looking for a conflict ). I am using the alpha and bravo .

** update ** the problem appears to be with the garmin trainer. If I run it from the start menu, it initialises and then closes down. I think the TDS GTN is unable to read the trainer. You may remember that you had to manually install the garmin trainer for me when the TDS first came out. It worked fine in standalone, before the cockpit intergration ( 1.0.1.2 ) version came out. There appears to be something in my laptop blocking the trainer from running. I has access through the windows defender firewall. The program Aviation_Trainer_Launcher.exe will start and shut down after about 10 seconds.

Currently, the user must use the (L:TDSGTNXI_InstrumentPanelSelfTest, bool) variable to set the needles and flags on the HSI for the test page check to work correctly.

However, I use the TDS variables for the flags and for the needles, so I should expect that the GTN would set these variables correctly when on the test page, and the user would not have to code for this..

Is there a plan to change this behavior?

I just bought this GTN because I was having VOR to VOR issues with the PMS50.
Now this issue is gone with your GTN, but now I'm having problems with ILS. It
just won't lock On the beam. The needle moves but the plane won't intercept it. I tried many ILS at different airport
and they all the same. Yes I'm out of "GPS" mode and the "APP" is on.

Anybody has this issue like this?

In the standard Asobo aircraft the GTNXi is very dark and is only the screen inside the G1000, see attached.

Is this correct or do I need to do something to increase the brightness of the GTNXi in the cockpit

I have just purchased the PA-28R Turbo Arrow 111/1V from MSFS marketplace but I don't have the GTN 740 showing in my aircraft. I just have the normal NAV stuff.

Please help.

Hi,
The install of the trainer and the software seemed to go fine.
It works a a stand alone pop out type screen. I have the green connected to sim message, but the cockpit 750 remains off (I made sure it was the correct livery for the GTNXI 750).
I read your response to the same problem yesterday, I checked I was running version 1.0.0.7 and also checked the community folder for the tds-gtnxi-gauge folder, but it wasn't there.
I had a look at the log files, and may have spotted a problem. The TDSGTNXiExel log shows:

It's detected a double installation of the Steam version and the Store version. I never fully installed the Steam version, the install kept hanging, eventually I installed the Store version instead.
Could this be why I don't have the Gauges folder in my Community folder?

Hi, Just purchased today and have been using in the Cessna 414a. Of the two flights I have just flown the left side display freezes about 15-20minutes into the flight. The right side continues to work as normal. Any idea how to fix?

after the problems I had on my pc. I already informed you that in a new unit. the trainer was already working perfectly.

I have tested version 3.2 for p3D with the rxp software.

however, today TdsGtnXisim.exe returns this error..
