Dimming
#1
Would it be possible to add a hidden spot (the data card slot for example) to dim the screen? I know that you can adjust the backlighting via the setup page, but a hidden 'scroll spot' would be handy. I found that during dusk / dawn the unit is very bright compared to the rest of the panel in the VC.
Or, maybe even better, automatic dimming depending on the light conditions, but I guess this will be hard to accomplish.

Hello,

Thank you for your advice on a new TDS GTNXi feature, we appreciate your interest. We have planned some modifications to the dimming, this is still on the drawing board in terms of how this will be achieved, but we will achieve this feature sooner rather than later.

Thank you.

Only the charts for display are available for US only (government charts) however the unit, the database and the procedures are for the entire world… Database is about one year old at the moment.
