How to use pop-out display in VC integrated plane

I setup spacedesk so that the GTNXi panel can be used on my iPad (running as 2nd monitor) and it works great in planes that don't specifically have VC integration (e.g. 152, 172, etc.); however, I tried to do this in the Milviz 310 as a workaround for performance problems and I don't have the option to pop out the GTNXi panel (the TDS software says it's in cockpit integration mode or something) even though I did not select GTNXi integration in the 310 tablet.  Is there a way to force the TDS software to allow pop out window (so I can use in 2nd display) even on planes that have VC integration?

Hold right ALT and click on the lower left of the GTNXi. It may take a couple of tries for the proper panel to pop up.
