ILS glideslope disappears when a flight plan is entered
#11
Hello,

For the glideslope, let's monitor this in V1.0.0.7 of the TDS GTNXi.

For the keys not working, can you please test in the regular 2d pop-up of the TDS GTNXi without AirManager and let us know?

Hi
I have tested the keys with xp12 c172 and a gtn750 2D without air manager.
Keys are working properly via the touchscreen.
Hope this helps.

Greetings all,

I am also experiencing the "NO GS" issue with Air Manager G5's with the 750GTNXi when using an ILS approach (using NAV1).

The old style VOR head (round dial) glide slope does work with the 750GTNXi when in VLOC and NAV 1 is engaged.
When looking at the in-sim aircraft panel, the aircraft HSI is picking up the glide slope, so we know the ILS is working.
When doing an RNAV GPS approach with the TDS 750GTNXi, the Air Manager G5 glideslope does work.

As a test, I removed the TDS GTNXi plugin, and used the default Laminar Research GTN 530 GPS navigator (I am using the Laminar Research Baron B58 with the REP package) that came with the aircraft and the ILS was showing on the Air Manager G5's.

Here's a link to the Air Manager datarefs

I think someone above was asking for the "no flag" GS dataref, which I found in the link above:

sim/cockpit2/radios/actuators/nav_receiver_glideslope_off (Nav receiver N should not tune paired UHF frequency to pick up a glideslope. If this is on, the receiver will only pick up localizers, but not glideslopes)
sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/nav1_flag_glideslope (Glide slope flag, nav1 - EFIS style flag that shows when glideslope is expected, but not received)
sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/hsi_flag_glideslope_pilot (Glide slope flag, pilot side HSI - EFIS style flag that shows when glideslope is expected, but not received)
sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/hsi_flag_glideslope_copilot (Glide slope flag, copilot side HSI - EFIS style flag that shows when glideslope is expected, but not received)
sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/hsi_flag_glideslope_pilot_mech (Glide slope flag, pilot side HSI - mechanical instrument flag that shows whenever no glideslope signal is received)
sim/cockpit2/radios/indicators/hsi_flag_glideslope_copilot_mech (Glide slope flag, copilot side HSI - mechanical instrument flag that shows whenever no glideslope signal is received)

X-Plane12 12.3 beta
TDS 750 1.0.0.6
750 Trainer 3.10.3.0
Air Manager 5.0.7

If I can help with troubleshooting I'd be happy to help! The TDS is a fantastic product and I'm enjoying using it. Smile

Hello,
Thank you for your kind words, we appreciate them. As well as thank you for the detailed explanation. We think that the root cause of the issue is an error on our part by writing to this dataref:
sim/cockpit/radios/glideslope_signal_valid

Do you use Discord? If so, can you please send us a DM @TDSSim
