TDS MODS for FS2024 default aircraft

Hi!
I am running FS2024 Deluxe and the TDS PRO Upgrade. I am usin gsome add-on aircraft with TDS GTN750 and 650 and they work pretty fine. Yesterday I downloaded the MODS for to use TDS GTNs in FS2024 default C172, C404 and PA28.
After unzipping the files and copying them to the COMMUNITY folder

PA-28 works fine with TDSGTN750 and 650
C172 still shows up the Asobo GNS530 and 430
C404 disappeared from my aircraft selection list

What to do to bring Default C172 and Default C404 to work?`

Hello Georg,

We will have to discuss this on a step by step basis.

For the C172, most likely thee install in the MSFS 2024 community folder is wrong, unzipping the file produced a double folder. Please delete the TDS GTNXi C172 Mod folder from the MSFS 2024 Community folder, then redownload, unzip and make sure to follow this folder path:
\Community\marcfsx-tdsgtnxi-integration-c172sp
Where exactly inside the folder you will see the layout.json, manifest.json and two sub-folders: SimObjects, ContentInfo.

In case of issues, please post screenshots.

Let's discuss the C172 first and get it solved, for the C404 we are looking internally as this may require an update on our part due to the recent changes in MSFS 2024 SU3.

Hello,

The C404 mod has been resolved thanks to the quick work of marcfsx and has been re-uploaded. It is version 1.0.2 and works with MSFS 2024 SU3. We request that all users redownload the mod and install it. Hopefully this should resolve the C404.

Hello,
first the good news. I redownloaded the C404 mods and copied them to the Community folder after having deleted the old ones. Then I had to REACTIVATE my C404 in my FS Library and since the restart of the sim the C404 works fone with the double GTN750 config.

I doublechecked the situation for the C172. I never had double folder structures. After having copied the mods for the C172 to the Community folder I could select and start the C172 only once and then it also disappeared. THe one time I saw the C172 I saw it without the GTN, only in its default config. In the meantime I redownloaded the mods copied them to the Community folder checked the folder and file structure but the airplane stays disappeard. When I search in my FS2024 aircraft library for "172" only a green 172 cargo version is listeted, the standard skyhawk does not appear. When I check my Marketplace it says that I own this aircraft and it is streamed. But it does not say that my C172 is to reactivated like it did for my C404.
I am using the PC DELUXE version of FS2024.
The only strange thing I found in my Marketplace details. It now says that I am not allowed to use this aircraft in career mode because I do not have a FS private pilot license. I never used the career mode and I never will. I am educated airline pilot, so I passed a real PPL exam. Maybe this has some to do with the disappearing.

Thank you for letting us know, we are glad to hear that the C404 is running. Can you please temporarily remove the TDS GTNXi mod for the default C172 Steam gauges and let us know if the C172 Steam gauges is working fine.
In addition, please check and confirm that you do not have any other C172 mods that could interfere with it.

From the TDS end, we have tested our C172 mod and we do not find any conflicts with MSFS 2024 SU3.

I will do other tests this evening but my actual problem is that I cannot select the C172 any longer. It is not in the list of available aircraft. Marketplace says I own the aircraft and everthing should be OK but until now I am not able to select it. I will keep you informed.

As a first test, please remove the TDS GTNXi C172 mod and try the C172 Steam inside MSFS 2024, it should be available.

Hi,
The default C172 is up and running with TDS GTN750 and GTN650. I did several tests, also what you recommended, but nothing worked anymore. Checking the MSFS2024 folder structure I found a folder STREAMED PACKAGES. In this folder I found subfolders for the C172 G1000 and the Standard C172. I deleted both when FS2024 was shut down. then I rebooted the pc and fired FS2024 up again. It recovered the two deleted folders and the C172 were back in my aircraft selection list. I selected the C172, it came up with the ASOBO GNSes. Then I shut down FS2024, redownloaded your mods, doublechecked the filestructure according to the Jasons and copied the mods folder to the community folder. Since firing FS2024 up again C172 flys great with the double GTNs.
PA-28 Dakota is working
C172 Skyhawk is working
C404 Titan is working
So we can close the ticket!
