Tds gps manager keeps shutting down
#1
Hi there, I’m currently in the process of a fresh install of msfs2024, one of the main reasons was my tds gtnxi 750 kept crashing after 5 mins.

Anyway I’ve uninstalled everything, rebooted pc and re-downloading the latest gpsmanager, however everytime I enter my username and password it just keeps shutting down, which means I can’t reinstall my gtn750.   I have managed to get the pctrainer Reinstalled by doing it manually via the Garmin site.

Any help would be appreciated

Hello,

Which version of the TDS GPS Manager is displayed on the top title bar, prior to logging in?

We find this a bit odd behavior, as in something else is interfering with the TDS GPS Manager. Please also help us with the crash log of the TDS GPS Manager from Windows Event Viewer/Applications tab.

Thanks for the reply, sorry had gone to bed when it arrived as currently on nights.

Will get you all the information when I get home from work in the morning.

I downloaded the installer from your website today so assuming it’s the latest one, but I will confirm and send you that info and the logs tomorrow.

Hopefully we can figure out what’s going wrong.

Miss having my 750, sadly I’ve been having major issues with it ever since moving to 2024. Hence one of the reasons I was doing a fresh install.

I do, so will contact you there.

Good news is I’ve got it working via a fresh install of windows.  Just bit the bullet and started afresh.   Bad news is installer is stating exceeded maximum number of installs now. Dooohhhh.

Will send you a DM.
