GTNXi 750 on External Tablet

Hi there!

I would like to control the GTNXi in the virtual cockpit of my plane using my Android Tablet.
I can do something similar with the FMC of the PMDG 737 with Aviaworx AviaCDU.

Is this possible for the GTNXi? With the GTNXi being touch and all that, there isn't much I can map to my hardware buttons, just the knob and the Home and DCT TO buttons. Having the possibility to control it via an external tablet would be great.

If it's not possible at the moment, any chance you would consider adding this feature in a future update?

Thank you for your inquiry. We have quite a few users running the TDS GTNXi Pro on external tablets. From what we have seen, the general program used is called Spacedesk:

Yes, this has been possible since the very first release of the TDS GTNXi, as it is more of a Windows feature.

In addition to what we have stated above, it is advisable to place the TDS GTNXi into "Standalone mode". This is a WIP mode, but it will make the TDS GTNXi always in a standalone window and (at the moment) the VC integrated version will be black. I see. I will look into it, but I do not like the VC GPS being black.
Any idea if you'll ever be able to make it work in the VC while also being displayed externally?

As has been stated in the Discord channel, we plan on looking into this in the future, but we can't promise anything at this point.

I tried and it works great, but I miss having the GTN in the Virtual Cockpit.
I think I will wait until it will be possible to keep both the in-game GPS and the external one.
