Hello,
I own the SWS PC12 and TDS NXi Pro for MSFS 2024.
Please could you clarifiy if the TDS NXi can be inegrated into the VC of the PC12? If so, where can I find the correct procedure as currently MSFS 2024 crashes on startup.
Thanks for your assistance.

Hello Chris,
Integrations are performed by the aircraft add-on developer, not by TDS.
In the case of the SWS PC-12, yes, a full integration is available: you need to download and install the Panel Mods->TDS GTNXi from the SWS website, this is the link at the time of writing:
https://simworksstudios.com/product/pc-12-legacy/
In regards to MSFS 2024 crashing on startup, we are not sure how this is related to the TDS GTNXi Pro.

Hello, thanks for the reply.
I traced the issue, the IniBuilds SWS Intaller partially installed the panel mod into MSFS 2020. Once I obtainded the correct mod everything is OK except I have really bad micro pauses (Stuttering) when using the TDS GTNXi. If I quit the gauge everything is normal again. Any idea what could be causing that and what I can do to resolve it?
My PC Specs are:
Windows 11 (Latest update)
MSFS 20204 SU2
Intel i5 14700K with 32 GB DDR5
Gigabyte 4070S (latest NVDIA Drivers)
1TB SSD
Thanks, Chris

Hello Chris,
Yes, we have a dedicated Performance Improvement section in the TDS GTNXi Pro PDF manual, notably the Antivirus Exclusions. Please make sure to set them and all should be fine.
Best regards.

Hello again,
I have tried the soultions suggested and they have not helped. I have also terminated evey other process running during the MSFS 2024 session and the stuttering remains. I also completely disabled Windows defender to test if it was related but it didnt help.
I do not think this is performance related. The users in the Videos had FPS challenges before installing the GTNXi Pro - I do not, I averge in excess of 150 FPS on high settings.
In my opinion there is an exceution error in the Gauge, the stuttering does now appear to be more regular than I thought. Is it posssible to enable logging or some other debug facility to help trace this as currently the SWS woth GTNXi Pro is unusable for me.
Thanks for your assistance so far.
Kind regards, Chris

Hello Chris,
We do not have special logging in place. We would suggest, as a first step, capping the MSFS frames a bit, so there will be a little GPU/CPU room for the TDS GTNXi Pro as well; since if there are no more resources available.
In addition, do you have a Hard Disk (HDD) or a slower SSD for the MSFS LocalState folder?

Hello,
The MSFS LocalState folder in on 1TB NVme SSD - the same SSD as the Main MSFS20204 and Commiity folders.
I limited frames to 60 and used Process Lasso to set up affinity masks and CPU scheduling to test this theory but it did not help - the stuttering remains.
If I remove the SWS panel mods and run TDS GTNXi standalone Avionics everything work perfectly and is super smooth. I have to conclude there is a bug somewhere.
I'll run like this for now. Dissappointing but stuttering totally ruins the experience.
Kind regards, Chris

Hello Chris,
Please do not use Process Lasso, we have had incompatibility reports in the past.
Can you please confirm the antivirus used and the exceptions being set (via screenshots)?

Hello,
It's Windows 11 Defender, and I followed the intructions in the manual. My PC is currently off-line so I will send the screen shots when I can. I mentioned above that I did completely disabled it to rule that out as a cause. It made no diffrence at all.
I used Process Lasso only to force NXi Pro away from the cores that MSFS 2024 favours to increase available resources. It made no difference at all. I do not use it normally with Flight Simulation.
Thanks, Chris

Hello Chris,
Thank you for the information. The behavior experienced by you could be of these causes:
Either a slow disk drive where the MSFS LocalState\packages\tds-gtnxi-gauge\work folder is located
An antivirus or monitoring program constantly checking the above mentioned folder
Extremely rarely we have seen some video card driver settings causing this issue.
Such as, but not limited to: Nvidia Control Panel not limiting application FPS, low latency, etc. Hence why we would suggest resetting all settings to default.
Please let us know how it goes.
