MSG's not clearing from message box

When I get a MSG flashing, I go to the message box, but I cannot see a way of clearing them.

Previous Garmins that I have used, clear once you go into and out of the message display box.

What is the exact message that you want to clear and does not get cleared? This should not happen. Can you please post a screenshot?
