AIRAC Cycle Updates
#11
(07-27-2022, 07:27 PM)adminOwner2 Wrote: Hello Malcolm,

We totally understand your concern regarding updating the databases. We have seen that the PC Trainer would be updated once every 6-12 months and once that is done, we will follow as soon as possible.
We are not limited to this and if/when we will have news, we will publicly post. Not to worry, we are treating this topic very seriously.

Yes, please treat it seriously.
As much as I love the GTNxi, every time I generate a Simbrief flight plan so many waypoints have to be changed which is just killing the fun for me.
Remembering to swap cycles back and forth between current and 2004 is getting really old :-)

BTW, I'll keep looking but can't seem to find any info on hardware control.
All I'm managing is Zoom, DTO and Home.
Is it possible to remotely control the other buttons like it is in the PMS?

Hello,

The TDS GTNXi has database cycle 2104, not 2004, so maybe you have an older base PC Trainer installed, which would require an update?
Yes, we do offer the possibility the configure hardware buttons, below is a link to a YouTube video outlining the process:

Ah Sorry, I meant 2104. I don't think I was a Navigraph Subscriber in 2004 :-)

Thanks for the link.

I've watched a few of his videos but skipped this one as it referred to the RealSimGear 750 which I don't have as I'm mainly home built but I will take a look and see if it will help do something with the Elgato Stream Deck or Touch Portal.

Thanks for your response.

Excellent, hopefully the videos by Les will help you configure the hardware buttons. Good luck and please enjoy the TDS GTNXi!
