Flight Plan in Aircraft? - FlyerCraig - 11-28-2022 Hi, I put a flight plan in the 650, but that doesn't seem to copy to the aircraft's navigation (I don't see it on the G1000 in either the default 172 or DA40). So, my autopilot won't follow the flight plan. This is in the latest version of MFSF 2020. The settings on the 650 seem to be correct. Thoughts? RE: Flight Plan in Aircraft? - adminOwner2 - 11-28-2022 Hello, The TDS GTNXi has its own flight planning, outside of MSFS. Even though it is not designed to copy it to MSFS, it can very well fly the flight plan without issues. Please note that at the moment, the TDS GTNXi is incompatible with the default WT G1000 NXI, hence why we strongly recommend using it in approved aircraft, as shown on our website, VC Integration section. The autopilot will fly the flight plan just fine, both laterally as well as vertically. Good luck and please let us know how it goes. RE: Flight Plan in Aircraft? - FlyerCraig - 11-28-2022 Hi, When you say incompatible, what do you mean? The autopilot (RealSimGear) doesn't seem to see the flight plan I've created on the 650, is that the issue? The autopilot does work in heading mode, so the sim is seeing the autopilot hardware for sure. Just can't click NAV, I suspect because it doesn't see the flight plan. RE: Flight Plan in Aircraft? - adminOwner2 - 11-29-2022 Hello, No, you are a bit mistaken. As long as you set up a flight plan in the TDS GTNXi, you can use any default assigned autopilot as well as NAV mode. Please make sure that the TDS GTNXi is set up to use NAV mode, inside the main interface, Settings tab! |
